I have tried to assign a different driver to it manually, and it still wont work. I have a adapetr, though: Apparently, this can also cause Tun to appear. It might have something to do with the firewall setting “exceptions” for UPnP Framework. Also, I have seen guides for this process on other sites, but i just don’t trust them the way I do majorgeeks I will report back soon!

I am using XP Pro, and this is how I did it. Perform a search for ‘tun miniport’ in Registry Editor Start adaptet Run – regedit and delete the resulting keys.

I have had the same problem and really don’t know why? In the dropdown box that says “Automatic” or “Manual”, set it to Disabled and then click on “Apply” 4. There could be a non-broadcasting router in your area on the same channel as yours.
